Meet Clyde
Meet Clyde, a 5-year-old male German Shepherd Mix.
Clyde arrived at the shelter as a stray along side his partner in crime, Bonnie, although staff believe he may be named after a Clydesdale horse due to his large stature. Don't let his bark fool you, Clyde is a friendly, active dog who would love to find his forever home! Bonnie and Clyde have been around children in the past and have done great, however they will need help in their new home learning not to jump, for this reason they may be best in a home with older kids. Bonnie and Clyde must be adopted into a home without livestock or small furry animals due to having a strong prey drive.
We always recommend testing all our dogs with any other potential family members prior to adoption to ensure the best outcome for all!
Come meet Clyde today, he is located at the Ellensburg Animal Shelter.
A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is lifesaving. Adopt Don't Shop.
