Coco

Coco is just a sweet sweet dog.

Curious, goofy, loving, and energetic - he loves everyone, and sees the best in them.

Coco came to SV Pet Project with a lame right foot and needed multiple surgeries, first to remove a benign tumor, and then a full amputation of the right leg.

Coco has adapted quickly to being an amazing tripawed pup.

Throughout Coco's medical treatments, his sweetness, friendliness, and gentle nature have continued to shine! Coco currently lives with two older 4-legged brothers and, while he would love to live with a fur-sibling, he is not part of a bonded pair.

As long as he has fur friends to play with, Coco will be a happy boy! When playing with his human pals, in typical puppy fashion Coco can be a bit jumpy and mouthy, but that's easily addressed with a firm voice and a 15 minute walk :-) He's very verbally responsive and wants to please.

Sweet Coco has been perfectly house trained since day one, loves car rides, and while he is working on his leash manners, he loves to go for walks and is learning not to pull in excitement when he meets new friends - that is Everyone! Coco knows the benefit of "Sit", "Down" and "Touch" to get his favorite treats, and will benefit from continued positive reinforcement training.
