Meet Cocopuff

You’ll go Cuckoo for Cocopuff! Born approximately 9/27/21, this beauty is a young Shepherd mix who is as sweet as her namesake!

Cocopuff had a rough start to life and is still learning the ins and outs of being an indoor dog. Even so, she does enjoy being a little pampered – things like a soft bed and a variety of delicious treats are her favorite things.

While she will use a crate, she’s described as trustworthy in the home and does not chew things she shouldn’t. That said, if she finds a tasty morsel left out, she may help herself to it. She is potty trained and knows how to ask to go outside and could most likely learn a doggy door.

She enjoys her walks, and a roll in the grass and does well in the car – especially when a car ride comes with a stop for a pup-cup. She is living in a home with other dogs and wouldn’t mind a canine sibling in her adoptive home if they are calm and respectful. She also wouldn’t mind being your one and only.

Cocopuff is up to date on vaccines, altered, and microchipped. Due to her early life, she can at times be quirky or uncertain in some situations - like going outside or coming back inside and at times, strangers and even her foster family members.

She will require a home with a yard with a secure 6 ft fence and a person or family committed to building trust with her by giving time and space and treating her with kindness predictable routines and safe and supportive exposures to new things. If there are children in the home, over the age of 5.
