Meet Cole

Cole is a poodle x lab and is about 5 years old. He weighs approximately 40lbs. He has lived his entire life in a breeding facility just like his younger sister Soba.

Cole is a very nervous dog, fearful of new people, traffic, and most of the normal outside world that other dogs were exposed to when growing up.

He is looking for a patient, understanding, fearful dog experienced adult only home, with no children and no future children.

His ideal home would be one that is in a rural area, that is low foot and vehicle traffic. One that has a full fenced, escape proof yard where he can enjoy off leash time with safety. He would be best with another friendly and calm dog friend that he can learn from. He is not great with really small dogs or cats, therefore should not live with them. Dogs 20 lbs or larger works best.

He is doing well with his leash walks, but is still quite nervous, so please, do not take him to busy parks, busy areas, or off leash dog parks.

Once Cole warms up to his new person, he is very affectionate and loving. And very obedient. He is house broken and doesn't have separation anxiety. It takes about 3 to 4 weeks for him to start trusting a new human, so no walking on leash until he has developed a bond with you.
