My name is Cooper.
I came from a family with multiple young children, cats and a female dog.
I have made a friend here at the shelter, another male hound dog named Grommitt.
I take a little longer to warm up to men, but I am told I am a sweet boy who is a little lovebug once I know someone.
While I am intelligent and learn quickly, I do need some help with my leash skills.
I know commands of sit, stay, down, come, shake, and drop it.
I'm athletic, energetic, and enjoy going on a good run.
I have even been on a paddle board.
I am very protective of those I love, and may resource guard occasionally.
I need someone with confidence who can teach me how to be the best boy I can be.
If you would like to meet me please let the folks at the Olympic Peninsula Humane Society know by filling out an application.
