Are you the one for this beautiful boy?
Meet Copper! Copper is located in a foster home in Spokane, WA and can be transported to your area.
(See information below in the Adoption Donation section.) Copper was an orphan, and our naming theme for orphans this year is Crayola Crayons.
The color could describe his coat, but it could also relate to his personality.
The metal copper is beautiful, resilient, and shapeable while still retaining the qualities that make it so important in our modern world.
Copper the dog was slated for euthanasia the day our rescue tagged him simply because the shelter did not have space; he survived that fate and journeyed to Washington to start a new life with his loving, affectionate, playful personality intact.
Copper enjoys cuddling and giving kisses; he loves everyone he meets and delights in the world around him.
And like metal, he is stunning and shines.
Copper is a young dog, under a year old, and he has many skills in place already he is turnkey! He spends time in his crate very well and sleeps through the night.
He is learning to sit and wait to be released before eating; he alerts at the door when he needs to go outside.
Copper walks nicely on a leash, and on his first day with his foster, he attended a soccer game crowded with dogs and people of all ages.
Copper handled all the stimulus with perfect manners (and really enjoyed the people and dog watching!).
He loves playing with the other dogs in his foster home and is gentle with the cats as well.
Copper's ideal home?
One with people to love and be loved by; treats; snuggles; and dinner.
Other animal companions would suit him as well.
Is your home the one for this resilient, beautiful boy?
