Meet the adorable Cortez! He is a 3 yr old, 11 lb male Yorkie who is simply adorable and full of personality!

Cortez likes to snuggle when he is settled, does great with other dogs but is high energy so might be too much for senior dogs. He is house trained, does well in his crate while his foster mom is at work.

Cortez lived in a home with many people who did not work with him on proper socialization skills so he is still very much like a puppy. He is hesitant with new people and barks until he feels comfortable and safe. He is treat motivated and smart and willing to learn if just given time and patience. He does get startled when picked up unexpectedly due to his first home and has nipped, but never broken skin so a home with no young kids is probably best. PLEASE give this little guy a chance to prove he can be a great companion if just given the proper family!
