Cosmo

Hi! My name is Cosmo (after the dog astronaut from "Guardians of the Galaxy) and I'm a medium-size dog with short, brown and white hair with a bit of black.

I'm already dewormed, vaccinated and neutered.

I was found near a flea market when I was about to get hit by a car.

The person who rescued me asked around in case I had a family, but no one claimed me as theirs so they took me home with them.

When they took me to the vet, they found out that I was positive for canine coronavirus (not COVID-19) and I had to be under a treatment, so I had to go to the vet everyday.

I'm a very happy dog (probably grateful that I was rescued!) and also very brave.

While I was sick, I had to spend almost two weeks in a cage and I never cried at night.

I'm a champ! I'm hosted by a 5-year-old dog, with whom I love to play with.

I can be naughty sometimes because I love biting pieces of cloth or sandals (they put these out of my reach now and I bite on my toys and treats instead).

I might not be a good fit for a family with young children or elderly adults since I jump a lot when I get excited and I could hurt them, but my foster family is working with me to get rid of this habit.

I love going to the park and I'm learning how to walk with a leash, but I also love car rides! I basically love to be out and about.

I've hung out with cats on occasion without any issue, but supervision would be necessary since I'm not a very delicate playmate.

Oh and one thing I absolutely fear are fireworks! I've been waiting for a home for months now, but I don't lose hope.

I know I'll find a loving and responsible family that will take good care of me!
