Meet Crunk
Born around November 2022, Crunk is a male Lab Mix (best guess). He is a medium/large dog expected to be approximately 50-60 lbs at adult weight. A medium energy pup, he will need to daily exercise. Does well with other dogs but is a little rambunctious and overwhelming for smaller dogs. As far as we know, he has not been around cats. He is a bit intimidated by strangers at first, but warms up quickly when they are sitting down. He has a very big bark and would make a great watch dog or family protector!
Crunk was rescued off of a Reservation in Washington state when he was just a wee pup. Very skinny and malnourished, he landed himself in a shelter in Spokane and was able to go to a foster home. His charm got him adopted by the foster family, along with his sister. Since he spent the first 8 months of his life growing up with kids ages 5-15, he's great with kids. Due to a very personal family matter, Crunk and his sister were surrendered to PHR at 8 months old.
This quirky dude likes to bury his food in blankets before deciding to eat. Since he is young he will need to continue training to help him be the best he can be: socialization with people and dogs, and confidence. He tends to be a little more alpha, so he would do well with a submissive dog friend about his size and would need proper introductions. His perfect home would include a yard to run circles in, sticks to find, a couch to lounge on, and some squeaky toys.
Potty trained, crate trained, sleeps all night, can be left alone, does pretty well on a leash, microchipped, vaccinated, and neutered; he is ready for his forever home.
At Path of Hope Rescue we strive to decrease the euthanasia rate of high-risk dogs in the southern United States by transporting pregnant dogs and puppies to the Pacific Northwest to find adoptive homes. We are 100% foster based and rely on volunteers and fosters to help in our mission. Our goal is to make EVERY DOG. WANTED.
Adoption fee: $450-$550. Path of Hope Rescue is located and based out of Spokane, WA. Adopters may choose to travel to Spokane to pick up their dog or use our monthly transport option to your local area for an additional delivery surcharge of $250.
We will choose the most suitable home for each dog, not the first application received.
If the dog you are applying for is adopted, we have hella good matchmakers that will help you find your perfect new four-legged family member.
Since the dogs that come up the Path of Hope are rescues, not much is known about them. Therefore breed and adult sizes are our best guesses and we cannot guarantee this information is accurate.
