Cyrus H

Cyrus is a handsome 4+-year-old male who GSRNC brought into our program as a puppy in July .

He is a very playful, energetic, loveable, and affectionate boy, who immediately was adopted.

His owners loved him but found he was a bit too playful with his senior dog pal.

We are on a quest to find the perfect home for this boy who the foster describes as "a sweetheart and real lovebug." Read what Cyrus wants you to know about him: -I am super handsome and just over 4 years old.

-I always have a big smile! -I am an 85 lb bundle of energy with soft thick fur who loves to be brushed.

-I walk well on a leash and enjoy going on hikes, neighborhood walks and runs.

-I love car rides! -I get along well with other dogs but play rough so need a high energy fur sibling with a similar play style.

-I haven't had any experience with cats.

-I am more interested in hanging out with my people and relaxing than playing with toys.

I probably should have been named "Shadow" -I am housebroken, know my basic commands and I will sleep in a crate at night.

But I don't like being crated during the day.

-I show no food aggression and take treats with a soft mouth.

-I just got a foster home and am perfecting being the perfect family dog! Watch Cyrus making friends in his obedience class!

Despite being bounced from house to house and spending months in a kennel, Cyrus is ready to trust and be loved.

His new family will require continued management so he can stay at the top of his game.

Cyrus is a level 3 dog, more on the mellow side, and being fostered in the East Bay.
