Good day to you there.

I am a handsome, mature shepherd mix fellow looking for a place to call home.

My name is Dash, (probably from my dashing good looks!) My previous family in New Mexico was unfortunately, unable to take care of me any longer and so HALO took me under their wing.

I'm a large guy that weighs about sixty-five pounds and I have a lot of energy to exert, whether through multiple daily walks, hiking, or traveling for adventures.

I'm used to having plenty of open space to stretch my legs and hope to have a backyard to play in, as I do not prefer dog-parks.

Like a proper guy, my leash skills are fairly good and I am working on learning not to pull.

Therefore, I think would be a wonderful companion to go on strolls or a running partner near the lake.

Don't be fooled though, I can also be quite the homebody, and will happily spend my down time at your side wherever you are.

While in HALO's care, I have connected better with more submissive-personality type dogs, so if you have other dogs that will be a part of my family, I would like to meet them too, to ensure we're a good fit as well.

My palate is quite refined, and I will enjoy many treat tastings whenever you offer them.
