Meet DeeDee

Dee Dee is a beautiful 2 yr old, 10 pound Yorkshire Terrier - Chihuahua girl - a Chorkie! She has blossomed in her foster home, playing with other young dogs and snuggling with them in my bed at night. She is still a little scared of people and is terrified of being crated. Because of her fear, I’ve let her be a home-body, and avoided taking her on walks and car rides. She loves chasing a ball in the back yard with another young dog.

Dee Dee needs a home with a fenced yard and another young dog to play with and reassure her that people are OK. Although still nervous, she comes and gives me kisses in the morning and whenever I join her on the couch. She never misses treat time! She is puppy pad trained but occasionally has accidents.

Dee Dee is ready for adoption to an adult home or one with gentle older children. She is fostering in North Carolina and can travel to her forever home. Please visit our main site for more information or to apply to adopt.
