Meet sweet, 41-lb, active ~2-year-old gal DELILAH who is looking for either an active family or a home where she can find a job.

We have learned that she will bond quickly with her people. DELILAH is good with other dogs and cats in the foster home. She is house-trained.

DELILAH plays well with the resident dog and is respectful as well. They train and walk together. DELILAH has some minor resource issues with food with other animals, but those are also super easy to correct. She really loves having a dog to play with but I think she would be alright if she doesn’t have an in-house friend.

DELILAH appears to be 'movement reactive' (i.e., she doesn't care about squirrels, cats, dogs, but if they move fast, she gets overstimulated). After proper introductions, she has been good with the resident cats, but will show stalking behaviors if they move fast. She is easily corrected. She would do well with dog-savvy cats in the home.

In her foster home, DELILAH has learned sit, wait, off, kennel, up (and load up for the car), come, and heel.

DELILAH good on a leash. On walks and enclosed open areas, she checks in regularly, so off-leash obedience would not be a problem.

DELILAH crates very easily and is quiet the whole time. She takes her treats with a gentle mouth, but is particular about her food.

She does not like the car (gets sick). NOTE: These observations occurred when she was sick with bacterial infection, so behaviors may change when she is fully healed.
