Denise will take a bit of time to trust a new human but once she does she loves with her whole heart. A quiet home with not too much in and out people traffic would be best for her. She will start warming up when you pet her and give her treats. She loves treats. Once she is comfortable and feels love, she will not want to leave your side. She loves with all that she has in her once she knows you are a good person and you show her some affection. Once she trusts her persons then she will sit, lay down and shake paw, and snuggle with you. She will become very playful with you and any dogs at home. She is recall trained with an ecollar tone, but she will come if you just call her, once she trusts you. She shows no food aggression to other dogs. I think she would be fine in an “one dog home”. She loves car rides. She is quite agile enjoying the small obstacle course I have made for my dogs. Once she trusts she likes to cuddle up and get petted or cuddle up with the other dogs. She sleeps in her crate or with me in the bed with my other dogs but it is recommended that she sleep in the crate for the first few months. She has participated in running races, hikes and went to restaurants and stores - Home Depot, Lowe’s, but she can still freeze and pancake if something spooks her. She needs to be properly lashed/secured at all times. She is a great dog but it will take some time to see that in her once in new surroundings.
