He is neutered and is about 40lbs.

What is his energy level?

He needs a family who leads an active life as he's pretty high energy and always needs something to work on.

He's very smart so he's very trainable and needs a family who can continue to train him.

How is he with other dogs & cats?

He seems ok with other dogs but just unsure how to appropriately approach them to make friends, but he is not aggressive.

If there are other dogs in the house, like most dogs, he will require slow and proper introduction, which we can guide you through.

How is he with people and kids?

He is more cautious with men, so he would need a slow introduction to men.

He's ok with kids; He currently lives in a temporary home with a toddler and he has been gentle with the toddler.

Regardless, for everyone's safety, we always require adult supervision every time a dog and a kid interacts.

He came to our rescue unaltered, unvaccinated, vomiting daily and with fleas.

Ever since, we have neutered him, fully vaccinated him, treated his fleas and figured out the diet that works for him and got him to good health, as well given him a flea prevention medicine.

All of this costs $$, which is why our adoption fee for him is $400, to help cover the vet bills that we have spent to give him the vet care that he needed and deserved.
