ABOUT DENZEL
He is a 2 year old terrier mix that is sure to win you over. Denzel came to HAP from a shelter partner in Louisiana when they no longer had space for him. Our staff quickly learned this boy is a total goof! Denzel likes to greet people with a big hug followed by asking for some belly rubs. He is very friendly with people and thinks everyone is his best friend. He enjoys going for long walks or playing in our fenced fields. He has made some fur friends on walks at the shelter and at local fundraising events. He is super food motivated to learn, making the possibilities endless. He already knows basic commands, walks well with a harness, and appears house-trained. He loves to bring you toys when he wants attention. Overall, this pup is a fun-loving, affectionate guy!

Be sure to check back for more! In the meantime, do not hesitate to submit a questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first come, best match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If the animal you want to meet has been adopted before your visit, we will work with you to find another match! All household members (including current dogs for dog adoptions) must come for the meeting to ensure everyone gets along. If a match is made, you will take your new friend for life home that day! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started!
