PERSONALITY TRAITS:

Jamie and Nicole trapped Desert in the desert outside of Bliss, ID. They believe he was dumped as he would stay in the same spot, near a sign chasing every car and then returning to this spot. Who does this to a dog? What is the matter with people? He currently is in boarding however, he is going to need rescue pretty soon to avoid euthanasia.

Desert is a sweet, young boy that loves attention. He is smart and easily redirected from undesirable behaviors. He loves riding in the car and is leash trained. He would be the star student in a round of positive reinforcement classes. He does have food aggression issues but that behavior is correctable – don't forget he was living in the desert, on his own, for who knows how long. Desert has shown Nicole and Jamie that he able to learn and trust and give kisses! He is still a big puppy and would grow into the best boy with a family/person that would stick by him, show him love and kindness, and be willing to spend the time and money to give him the stability and training he needs. Oh – and a family/person that would not dump him in the desert to fend for himself.

He has survived an ordeal that would've been tough for a human to get through. Please, rescue him before it's too late!
