DESMOND IS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION!

PERSONALITY TRAITS:

Desmond came to the shelter as a stray and has been here for several months which is a long time to be primarily in a kennel and it's taking its toll on him. He needs a family to give him time to decompress and love him for the wonderful dog he can be.

He knows basic commands, is house and crate trained. That being said he would benefit from additional fear-free training which is a wonderful bonding experience for you and your new canine companion.

Desmond loves to play fetch, loves car rides and walks wonderfully on leash with younger children and adults. He loves treats and loves to snuggle.

As for kitties – he just doesn't understand them and wants to chase them. With proper instruction and introduction he might be able to live with them. We are not sure how he would be living with another dog.
