Meet Devi
Meet Devi, a 1.5-year-old male Pit Bull/Pointer mix.
Devi was adopted from the Humane Society as a puppy and then recently found and brought in as a stray. Sadly, when staff reached out to her owners they stated that they had recently re-homed her and were not interested in getting her back. Devi is such a sweet girl. She was understandably confused when she arrived but quickly realized that the staff was happy to give her snuggles. Devi loves to snuggle and sat right in the photographers lap for cuddle time. Devi is still very young and will do best in a home that can walk and play with her daily. This girl deserves to be a member of the family, she is not a yard ornament.
This pet is available at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. If you recognize this animal please contact the adoption center. Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Saturday.
A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is life saving. Adopt Don't Shop.
