Meet Diesel

Meet Diesel AKA Big D. Diesel, AKA: BIG D, is a sweet White and orange pitbull mix boy with a short coat, he is 2 years old, weighs 75 pounds and is 21inches tall.

Big D is one of those dogs you feel comfortable with as soon as you meet him! he is playful with his rescuers 3-4 year old Rotti mix male as well as their cat.

He is great with all people and has been with children 10 yrs and up and does great with them too.
He is house trained and will go to the door to be let out, he has been crated overnight and does fine, his activity level is Medium to High and he loves to play in the sprinklers
and run in the yard. These days he is kept outside mostly, in a 4 foot chain link fenced yard and he does not try to get out of his fence.

His previous owners had a baby and had no time for him so he was taken in by a good Samaritan. Big D would love a home where he gets to go for walks and to live inside with his people.
He walks on a leash and will pull and could use some training, he knows SIT and COME, He loves to play and loves a ball, he will jump up and needs to be worked with on that too.
He was fine during the fireworks being outside.

An application must be filled out and accepted before a meet can be set up. If accepted, you will hear from us within 72 hours. You will have the opportunity to ask questions before you meet the pet; an adoption may or may not happen at that time.

We do adopt outside the Yakima area IF you are able to come to Yakima to pick up your adopted pet. We do not have a kennel facility; all of our pets are in foster homes. Therefore, meets and adoptions take place at either our office or at a place chosen by the adoption coordinator.

If a pet has 'Adoption Pending' beside its name, an adoption is imminent. Please fill out an application anyway because adoptions don't always go through.

Your application will be kept on file for 30 days in case you find another pet you'd like to apply for.
