Meet Diesel the Dobie
Meet Diesel! This beautiful, all-natural, blue male doberman was abandoned and found roaming the streets of North Houston before some good samaritans came to his aid and picked him up. Our rescue was contacted and after our first meeting with Diesel, we instantly knew that this boy was special and that we were going to help find him the best home ever!
Diesel is approximately 18 months old and has been recently neutered. He is up to date on his vaccinations, is dog friendly, great with kids and shows no aggression whatsoever. He enjoys playing with dogs of all ages and sizes and exploring his surroundings. Diesel is kennel trained and house trained.
Dobermans are known as "velcro" dogs as they quickly attach to their humans and want nothing more than to be right next to them and keeping them in their sight-line. Dobermans are highly intelligent, easily trainable and loyal and make excellent family dogs, protecting their family when needed and staying alert to anything that seems off. Dobermans need physical and mental exercise on a daily basis to keep them out of mischief. Diesel is no exception to these traits. He is extremely sweet and not overly energetic, but will require a family that will take him on daily walks/jogs/hikes.
