Meet Dimond

Dimond is a female German Shepherd born October 25, 2022. She is a special needs girl who has megaesophagus which requires her to eat her meals sitting up but according to her foster mom its fairly mild and has been easy to manage. Dimond loves everyone – humans, canine and felines! She's extremely friendly, smart, curious, outgoing, silly, goofy, and basically one of the best dogs around. She loves to play, and true to her breed, is highly intelligent and knows several basic commands. She currently knows sit, leave it, shakes with both paws, fist bump, lay down, turns in a circle in both directions and gives kisses on command with a nose boop.

She is not a barker except when she wants to play. When company arrives at her foster home she lovingly greets them and solicits pets from anyone and everyone. Dimond is a great traveler and loves car rides. Her ideal home would be an active one with another canine playmate of similar size and energy level, a securely fenced yard, children over 5, and breed experience is a plus!
