Dolly is looking for a home who can give her a loving and calm environment and all the positive experiences she needs to thrive. She is a little bit worried by lots of hustle and bustle, so a relaxed household will suit her best and although she can have calm and polite walking friends, Dolly is looking for a home where she will be the only pet so she feels comfortable in her space. She would prefer a home with older children aged 16 years and over who will interact gently with her and understand that she may be worried about exuberant behaviour and lots of noise. Dolly will need all her basic training including housetraining and so she will need her own private and secure garden. Dolly does settle in her kennel nicely for a nap but when left in a less familiar place she is a little bit worried, so she will need lots of company when she first goes home with gradual introduction to being left once she has settled in to her new home, building to a couple of hours at a time at a pace she is happy with. Dolly will need to meet her adopters multiple times to build a strong bond prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying.

Is Dolly right for you?
Dolly is a sweet and gentle 6 year old Beagle Cross with a nose for exploring and a big love of her home comforts! She enjoys sniffing around our compounds with her nose to the ground and loves big sniffy walks in the woods. A very foody girl, she has so much potential to learn lots of tricks and is currently learning to sit with her handlers. Tasty treats will be a great way to build a bond with her and to engage her in training. She absolutely loves her meal times and gets very excited when she sees her bowl! Dolly is a real sweetheart and the lucky family that adopts her will get to see her confidence grow and develop as she settles and realises she is in her forever home!
