Dorothy

Dorothy is a special cat with a unique story.

She and her litter of kittens were living outdoors until a Lollypop employee found them and rescued them. Dorothy is classified as a "spirit cat", which means she may not always be seen, as she is very shy and timid. Unfortunately, Dorothy has tested positive for the feline leukemia virus (FeLV). This means that she needs to be the only cat in the home. Or, if there are other cats in the home, they all have to be FeLV-positive. Dorothy's ideal home would be a peaceful and serene environment where she can relax and feel safe. She loves to sleep in cozy spaces, so her new family should provide her with a comfortable bed or cat tree. Dorothy also has a healthy appetite, and her favorite food is canned food.

As a "spirit cat, Dorothy is most active at night and may be found meandering around the house. She is looking for a kind and patient family who will provide her with a warm and loving home.
