Meet Duffy

Fun playful Duffy!
Delightful Duffy is a spayed, petite rough coat female weighing 45lbs. Her puffy mane feels downy soft like a puppy’s coat, we’re guessing her to be more or less than a year old.
Her blue mask makes her look fierce, but her round doe eyes melt hearts when she looks at you. Thankfully her soft personality matches, and this fluff ball is as gentle as her stuffed bunny that she carry’s around.

Duffy lived with at least 28 other dogs. Some in crates, some loose in the house like her. They have all been removed and are in rescue, new homes or the shelter who saved them.

Thankfully Duffy is young and quickly adjusted to the feel of grass under her paws, a collar, harness and leash and regular walks. The whole outside world is new and exciting. So far she’s doing remarkably well! She’s had the zoomies in the yard and enjoys all the new adventures. She’s super patient with getting her boots on to protect her pads from the winter salt, and for her exam at the vets.

Duffy is looking for a home with other friendly chows or playful dogs. Not sure about cats as she hasn’t met one but is instinctually driven to hunt squirrels! Being a young dog, she has lots of energy to burn, but is nicely balanced with quite and relaxed down time. A big plus is, she wants to be a good little girl and needs an energetic handler to teach her all the basic commands. In return, she will be a cute wee cuddle- bug, a great listener and a loyal companion.
