Mission
Exotic Animal Rescue and Pet Sanctuary (EARPS) is a central Indiana non-profit rescue group made up of volunteers working to help pocket pets, exotic and non-traditional pets. We coordinate with Indianapolis Animal Care and Control, the Humane Society, and several shelters throughout the state as well as surrounding states, as well as the Avian and Exotic Animal Clinic to rescue and care for exotic pets including rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, reptiles, birds and more. Our network of volunteers and foster homes works to educate on the proper care of exotic pets, and we are working to control the pet population through spaying and neutering our adoptable animals whenever possible. Adoption Policy
Our animals come to rescue through no fault of their own. Our community has a wonderful group of people watching out for all animals, and there are many rescue groups that help the dogs and cats of central Indiana. EARPS is here to help the rest! We work to raise awareness of the proper care of exotic pets and advocate for them in situations where they need a voice.

If there is a pet that you are looking for but we do not have one currently available, please feel free to complete an adoption application as we do maintain waiting lists for incoming animals.
