All parties interested must meet Eduardo before adoption. If you are not living in Anchorage, you must come in to meet Eduardo before adoption. This is to ensure that everyone is in agreement with the adoption and that there is a purrfect connection.

Adorably sweet & full of rolls & purrs, Eduardo would love to know if your family is his purrfect fit. This darling boy was living outdoors before being live trapped. He was covered in muck & mire due to the stress of having to survive outdoors, however he quickly cleaned himself up once he was indoors safe & sound. Eduardo still has a very cautious side to him, which is due to the hard life had living outdoors. However, when he feels safe & secure he is delightfully sweet, playful & so affectionate. Eduardo has had some challenges with the cats in the communal setting, this may be partly due to being recently neutered & his hormones have yet to completely dissipate or he may either need to be an only pet or a home with a very confident but sweet cat. He has had some time to be in our transition room to help with that. While in there he gets daily visits from volunteers & enrichment time. Will you be Eduardo’s purrfect fit?

AHS will also purrovide behavioral support for the transition and more to ensure that everyone feels secure with the adoption.
