Meet Ella
ABOUT ELLA
She is a 6 year old mountain cur. Ella came to HAP from a domestic violence situation. While we are not sure the full details of her story, it was clear she didn't understand why she was at the shelter. As she settled in, she has blossomed with staff and volunteers, showing us her true personality. Ella is a goofy girl that LOVES to run and bounce around outside. When she's not zooming around our fenced fields, you can usually find her soaking up some love in our front office. Ella enjoys playing with all sorts of toys and is sure to prance around with her most prized possessions. She already knows basic commands, walks well on a leash, and appears house-trained!
**Ella would prefer a home without other pets.
In the meantime, you are welcome to submit an adoption questionnaire if interested in adoption! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog, but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.
