Meet Elton

Elton, 4 years old, neutered male, Pitbull/Hound mix, 55 pounds. He is in a foster home in San Antonio, TEXAS and can transport to an approved adopter.

Elton is a ham! He has so much personality and has been waiting patiently for his forever home to find him.

Elton is very dog friendly and has made best friends with one of his foster sister's. They play and play and play (they are in video). He has great dog manners and plays well with all the dogs he has met so far. He will do best with another dog who also likes to play.

He is an active guy who is looking for a moderately active home. He would love to go on walks, trails, hikes or even runs (not required). He does pull a little on leash when excited, but overall does well.

He has met some cats and is very excited. He has not lived in a home with cats, so we can't say how he will or won't do. He has also been around smaller kids and does well. Due to his excitement, we recommend a home with kids 8 years and older.

Elton is housebroken and does great when crated. He rides great in the car. He has no issues meeting new people and is happy to say hello. Elton is a sweetheart, funny and independent and will jump a little when excited.
