Meet Emma, a 2-year-old female husky mix looking for her forever home! Emma is a doting and loving pup who enjoys going on adventures and exploring the great outdoors.

She has a playful spirit and loves playing fetch and tug with her favorite toys.

A note from Emmas Foster parent : "She was great in our home - I only remember her barking when she wanted to play in the evenings, she understood and (mostly) followed our "rules" e.g.

she was not allowed in the kitchen, or on the furniture when we were home and awake (I know she slept on the couch at night).

She was great in the car.

She never chewed/scratched anything but her toys.

She would come up and put her chin on my arm when she wanted my attention.

Walking her was easy, pretty "loose leash" except if she saw a squirrel, and for some reason we couldn't figure out, she was reactive to about 10% of dogs (different sizes/breeds).

I don't know her recall because we never had her off the leash.

She didn't seem to be motivated by food, although she ate most of her meals well- she was more motivated by praise and attention.

My only frustration with her was giving her medication until I discovered Cheese Whiz - even then I think she just reluctantly gave in.

I think Emma would love someone/ a family who would be with her a lot and would show her lots of love and affection.

Please let me know if there is anything else you would like to know - I am so hoping she finds her forever home soon" While Emma is a sweet and affectionate companion, she is not a big fan of sharing her personal space with other dogs.

She has a natural prey drive, so a home without cats or other animals would be best for her.

Emma has allergies and is on a specific diet to help manage her symptoms.
