Meet this laidback boy, Eric!

Lovely Eric came to us via a Greyhound rescue as an ex-racer. Due to this, he will need to be kept onlead and muzzled on walks / in public areas.
He walks nicely on lead and likes a good sniff around in the paddock, he also wears his muzzle comfortably. New owners will need to continue his positive association to wearing his muzzle so he is always comfortable walking with one on.

Eric a lovely, laid back boy that just loves a fuss and a cuddle. Considering he was a racing dog, his retired life is very much in the slow lane and he likes to take things at a slow pace, wanting nothing more than to lie on his blankets having some fuss.

He has shown to have a worried side to him that comes out when he is around other dogs, he can become quite awkward and not sure what to do in some interactions. He has shown some friendly behaviours though and will just need some continual confidence building around them in his new home. He did show chase behaviours around a small spaniel that was running around to which the fast movement triggered Eric's chase behaviours.

Eric is a lovely lad with a laidback, chilled out nature. He will need new owners who are understanding of his worried side and are willing to help him through this and encourage him to be a big brave boy in the world!
