1 and 1/2 year old Estrella is a Shepherd cross looking for a home.
She weighs approximately 44 lbs.
She is a gorgeous mixed breed dog - lean and sporty looking, with lovely colouring.
Estrella and her litter of 5 were found near the SPCA Puerto Vallarta sanctuary.
Their mum Keisha was tied up and left blind after surviving being poisoned.
The puppies were in very poor condition suffering from malnourishment at such a young age.
Estrella and her litter have been staying in a quiet rural sanctuary and have been tested in volunteer homes and out on walks.
Recently, her sanctuary refuge was hit by a hurricane...
she is safe, but she really would like a home of her own that isn't so crowded.
She is looking for a quiet home as her early life is somewhat sheltered and quiet, and she is timid with people.
She is good with dogs and cats, but timid to start, but prefers to walk with her siblings or other friends, especially as she is nervous exploring new areas.
When she walks with her blind mum she likes to make sure she's safe and helps guide her along.
Estrella would probably benefit from a calm social dog to help show her the way.
Estrella would do best in a home with a yard, in a non urban centre.
Estrella is now healthy and vaccinated.
Estrella loves the beach.
Estrella is healthy, spayed and vaccinated.
