Introducing Fancy, a lovable Dogue de Bordeaux mix with a heart full of energy and a passion for play.

This sweet girl was rescued by Concerned Citizens Animal Rescue in May of from a high kill Los Angeles animal shelter.

With her playful nature and love for exercise, Fancy quickly stole the hearts of the rescue team.

In August of the same year, Fancy's dreams came true when she was adopted by a kind-hearted gentleman who was looking for a walking partner.

It seemed like the perfect match, and Fancy couldn't have been happier.

However, their joy was short-lived as the rescue received a devastating call from a high kill animal shelter this month.

Fancy had been surrendered because her owner wanted a smaller dog.

The news broke everyone's hearts, especially Fancy's.

Concerned Citizens Animal Rescue wasted no time in swooping in to save Fancy from her heartbreaking situation.

However, with the winter season approaching, finding a foster home has proven to be a challenge.

Currently, Fancy finds herself in a boarding facility, patiently waiting for her forever person to come back for her.

Fancy likes playing with other dogs her size - she can get a little over excited when she sees other dogs while out on a walk but using a gentle lead has helped us tremendously.

Fancy also comes with 30 days post adoption support with our partners at Petcademy and one week of Free professional training with our partners at Good Pup
At just three years old and weighing 49 pounds, Fancy is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped and spayed.

She’s a bundle of love waiting for the perfect home.

She longs for a family that will cherish her, give her the exercise she craves, and shower her with affection.

Fancy's only wish is to find someone who will love her unconditionally.

A round of basic training and manners would do wonders for Ms.

Fancy.
