Fisher is 70lbs of pure joy! He is a shepherd mix who was pulled from a shelter in Downey the day he was supposed to be euthanized due to lack of space.
He is about 1-2 years old and bundle of happiness! He likes to play fetch, run around outside, and explore.
We believe he must’ve been kept outside by his previous owners but he is very hesitant to come inside.
But over the past 2 weeks in his foster home he is slowing warming up to that.
His foster says “He is really sweet.
He lays his head on my arm and loves to get attention.
Petting.
Playing.
Even hugs.
He just wants love.
It’s precious.
He’s not scared.
He’s not acting like anything but a sweet puppy.
He is a hugger he jumps up and hugs you that’s how he’s telling me not to leave him when I have to go inside.
He’s a lover and it’s definitely how he shows affection.
I think somebody trained him to do that which was probably very cute until he grew up and did that to guests or somebody got knocked over.” If we had guess, I bet someone got him as a cute puppy and then didn’t dedicate the time for proper training and exercise and he probably just became a nuisance in their eyes.
He’s nothing but a lover who just needs training and affection.
So far he’s met 2 dogs and he did great playing with both after proper intros.
He is also great around his fosters 8 year old child.
He is full vaccinated and neutered as of 3/30/23.
He will be ready for meet and greets once he recovers.
