FKOR AND. CANELA were rescued and are fostered in Saltillo Mexico.
Canela got into a school when it was the pandemia and she was already pregnant. In November 2021, she gave birth and had 3 puppies, but people took two puppies from her and only Flor remained, which was not so easily allowed to be grabbed by anyone. She hid and did not come out until she no longer saw people, they were reported. I found Canela on the street and brought food for Flor. When I saw the Flor, I could see that she was full of ticks. But I struggled a lot to catch her now with the help of those from the school. I was able to take both of them to the vet. They spent 7 months at the vet and then moved to the small shelter. Flor was adopted but the adopters mentioned that she kept crying and she didn't want to eat. To which I had to go for her and Canela when she saw her began to clean her face and she to move her tail. Since then they are more than inseparable. They sleep together.
Extra Loving, affectionate, Playful, loyal. loves kisses, likes to run a lot and feel free. Loves to play and being around other dogs.
They love to be hugged and cuddled. A little shy with new people.

2.) Phone / Email interview
After we have either approved your application, or if we have more questions to ensure a perfect match, we will schedule a brief phone / email interview when everyone in the potential adoptive household is able to attend. This will be conducted by a ADAC team member and can include the foster of the dog as well.

A member of the ADAC team will visit you in your home or virtually to ensure it is the best fit for the dog you are interested in adopting.
4.) Meet n greet
A member of the ADAC team will organize with you and with your prospective pup and the foster home, a virtual meet n greet This video call is for you to meet the pet and for us to make a visual check of your home and meet all your members of your family. Sometimes we also send a volunteer to do a home check in person.

If, after the meet n greet, the potential adopter and the ADAC team member agree this is a good fit, we will send you an adoption contract. Each dog will have different needs and different trial timelines. During this phase communication with the ADAC team is imperative. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT OUR RESCUED PETS ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT TO US. THEY ARE ANIMALS THAT ARE SINTIENT BEINGS WHO HAVE BEEN RESCUED FROM SITUATIONS OF SEVERE ABUSE, AND ABANDONMENT. WE INVEST TIME, MONEY, A LOT OF EFFORT AND EMOTIONAL STRESS FOR THEIR PHYSICAL AND EMOTIONAL REHABILITATION, WHICH WE DO NOT MAKE ANY MONETARY CHARGE FOR THAT SOCIAL WORK.
BECAUSE OF THAT WE TRIED TO DO AN EXHAUSTIVE INVESTIGATION OF THE POSSIBLE NEW FAMILIES OF OUR BELOVED RESCUES.
¡ Doing the Right Things to Find the Right Family !
Every animal we rescue deserves a loving, safe, forever home. It’s a responsibility we take very seriously at ADAC. We are grateful to receive messages from individuals interested in adopting one of our cats or dogs, but we must take certain steps to ensure their safety, as best we can.
Every potential adopter must fill out an application and answer questions that help determine their suitability. Many of our enquiries come from outside of Mexico and we are unable to conduct a home visit. Therefore, we ask for photos of the residence as part of our due diligence. For example, if the dog in question is an escape artist, we would need to know if the yard is fenced, if you have enough space for a pet, if the conditions of the home is suitable for a pet, and a photo/video would assure us of this.
We would like to continue with the adoption protocol, for this we need to receive photos or video of your home to confirm that it is a safe and suitable place for the pet.
This information we obtain from potential adopters is shared only with members of the adoption team involved in the application. Our database is only accessible by select ADAC members, and we never share any personal information with any other organization or business.
If you are not willing to share the information we need to finalize an adoption, we invite you to explore other organizations. These animals are our family and we need to know they will be cared for as such.
We are proud to have connected many beautiful animals into loving homes. You can search in our pages on Facebook, Instagram and our Website for many examples.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Many of our dogs will receive numerous applications, and we ask for your patience during the process of finding the very best match.
