Fozzie is a precious 2 year old shih tzu mix who was surrendered to us by his breeder. He is a shy little guy who finds comfort is his dog friends and being close to a trusted human. Fozzie is making great strides learning how to be a "normal" dog after spending the first few years of his life being used for breeding. Once he warms up to you, he loves to cuddle up and be loved on. He does not bark and doesn't mind being crated. Fozzy is getting used to walking on a leash and is making great progress with potty training. He would love a calm home, preferably with another dog to continue showing him the ropes. He is a sweet, gentle little boy who can't wait to find his forever family!
To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application. It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. We don't get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!
Our dogs are fostered but available for adoption. These dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue.
Our out of state adoption fee includes: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up to date heart-worm and flea preventative, heart-worm test if over 6 months, microchip with registration, health certificate, and transport costs.
As a direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc.). The adoption application and fee would be finalized prior to transport.
