Meet Frankie

This is Frankie est fob 11/01/13 (formerly Kranki)! Anything but cranky, Frankie is a gentle, loving, old man who just wants a spot on your couch. He’s a big suck for affection and he’ll make sure to let you know by resting his head in your lap or nudging you for good pets.

Although he’s an older guy he still likes to vocalize his excitement when getting ready for a walk.

He would rather run alongside you briefly during his walk than play with toys.. Frankie is chill, very low energy and will happily lay around all day. When left alone, he sometimes howls for a little bit but quickly goes back to lazing around.
If not next to you on the couch, he makes for a great foot warmer in the winter!
Frankie is more interested in people than cats, as he won’t do more than lift his head at the resident cat when it walks by.

At his senior age, he’s a little hesitant about making new doggy friends, especially high-energy dogs, so slow introductions would probably be best.
Due to his love of people, Frankie welcomes all human strangers in his home without discrimination.

He has not been tested with children, but does not show any signs of resource-guarding or aggression.

Frankie will do anything for food and knows the commands ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘lay down’, ‘no’, and ‘shake’ for a tasty treat (which could be kibble for all he cares).

He loves his best buddy Jaada and would love to be adopted with her, but it’s easy to imagine that he would thrive as the center of attention on his own.
