Meet Franklin
*Staff Favorite*
This boy has been good on car rides. Does well on his leash. Met a small dog with no issues. He met a couple kids and was a gentleman. He also sits, and gives paw on right and left. And he loves to play in a nice grassy yard!
Meet Franklin, an 8-year-old male Pit Bull mix.
Franklin was brought to the adoption center by the city of Tieton. He is not too sure what is expected of him and has been calm and mostly quiet. Due to over crowding Franklin spends his nights in a pop up crate and his days in a staff members office. Franklin has been very good about going potty outside. He is not your typical stray as he is already neutered, walks on his leash, and takes treats gently while sitting. Franklin has a gentle soul and needs an adopter that can see him for the gentleman that he is. It is also important to note that he is a fan of coffee drinks. Franklin was adoption returned due to having some seperation anxiety when his previous adopters would leave their home. They said he is a great boy but did not have the time to help him deal with his seperation anxiety, and would do best with someone home with him keeping him company.
This pet is available for adoption at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. If you recognize this animal please contact the adoption center.
Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Saturday.
A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is life saving. Adopt Don't Shop.
