Due to Covid & border patrol restrictions, you'll be required to cross the border and meet in Blaine, WA to receive your pup :) Our adoption application can be found at the bottom of this pet's bio.
Once your application is approved, we can arrange a virtual meet & greet with you and Genevieve! Genevieve is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX and is eligible to transport to an adopter as soon as one is lined up.
Meet Genevieve! Genevieve is estimated to be about 2 years old and is a boxer / pit bull terrier mix.
She is fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed and ready to find a family to call her own! Genevieve currently weighs about 50 pounds.
Genevieve's eye was removed due to an old injury to the eye, but that does not slow this girl down one bit! Genevieve is her name and playing is her game! Genevieve LOVES other dogs! She's the perfect dog park dog as she loves everyone.
She enjoys running to chase tennis balls and other pups! She would love to have an equally playful doggie friend, but would also be great without one! We would say Genevieve has a moderate to high energy level.
She loves to play with her doggie foster siblings, but will also settle and relax once she's tuckered out.
She'd make for a great adventure buddy! Genevieve has got to be one of the most friendly pups I've ever met! I've taken her to the dog park, starbucks, home depot and she's just as sweet as can be with everyone.
Genevieve is kid friendly! She's being fostered by a family with a special needs child and she is incredibly gentle with her.
She loves snuggling with her human foster sibling.
Genevieve hasn't met any cats yet, so we'll be looking for a home for her without cats.
Genevieve walks well on a leash! She does get excited in the beginning of the walk and will pull, but then she'll settle and stay with you for the duration of the walk.
Genevieve is fully potty trained and crate trained! She goes into her crate when you tell her and will stay in there while her foster family is away running errands.
I put a comfy bed in there for her to lay on and a chew bone to keep her busy and she's content.
Genevieve is also great when left outside of the crate! She just gets her a toy and keeps herself occupied until you return.
Genevieve is such a smart girl! She knows "sit" and she gets so excited for walks when she sees her leash! She'll run and sit at the front door and wait to be leashed.
She is SO affectionate and is always looking for her human, whether you're at home or at the dog park- Genevieve will frequently check in with you.
She LOVES toys and can keep herself entertained with toys if you're busy.
Genevieve is a smart, athletic pup! She is able to jump a 6 foot fence, but she won't attempt if you're outside with her.
She's never attempted at the dog park or if her foster family is outside with her, but this is something we think any potential adopter should know.
Genevieve has the CUTEST ears we've ever seen and an even cuter head tilt.
Seriously, she's perfected the head tilt.
She loves, loves, loves her humans and well, any humans really.
She is ALWAYS happy to see you, whether you were gone for 5 minutes or 5 hours, she's going to be super excited you're back! She does jump up on people in excitement (this is something we're working on with her).
She rides great in the car and will just sit in the backseat until you've arrived at your destination.
I cannot say enough great things about Genevieve and I just know you'll love her too! Interested in learning more about Genevieve or applying to adopt her?
