Meet Gertrude
Gertrude came to us from Wichita Animal Services where she ended up there as a stray. Gertie is a senior Brussels Griffon. Her exact age is unknown, but we estimate her to be about 12-13 yrs old. She is currently in a foster home getting all of the love and attention she can. Gertie is in heart failure and kidney failure. She does extremely well on meds and prescription food. She is still an active old gal, who likes to go on short walks around the neighborhood. She does good with dogs, kids, cats, house trained and crate trained. She is an absolute doll and just wants to find a home to spend the remainder of her years. She will need to stay on all of her prescriptions and has check ups probably every 6 months to check bloodwork etc.
