Are you on the lookout for an energetic-type dog, then look no further than this young girl. Gherkin came into SPCA with a suspected broken leg. After many weeks of having her leg in a splint and on strict crate-rest, she has been cleared by the vets and is bouncing around on all fours ready to take on the world and a family she can call her own. She can be a bit shy and coy to start with, but talk to her gently and be ready with a treat, she'll be jumping around wanting love and cuddles. Due to having to do lots of crate-rest she is pretty much an expert at being ok in a crate. She's a good girl at sitting and would love to have a family who is ready to help her training continue in a safe and happy environment. If you're an active household Gherkin will fit right in, but she also likes her rest time to recoup for the next round of fun and adventure.
