Ghost can live with children of high school age but he'll need to be the only pet at home. He is house trained but not used to being by himself.
Ghost is a big and bouncy one year old but he also has a timid side. His doesn't have much life experience and finds unfamiliar places and people to be a little worrying at first. but he quickly settles and shows off his playful and boisterous side too. He loves to say hello to people he knows but he does it with such enthusiasm that we have to hold him back a little! He's very strong on his lead and will need a confident handler that can manage his strength. Ghost is (very!) affectionate and likes to be fussed, but this does excite him a lot and he tends to jump up with joy. We're teaching him to keep "four on the floor" and he would benefit from his new family continuing to do so. He has been living outside recently but our goal is to find him a home where he will be inside, at the heart of the family where he belongs. He will need somebody home with him most of the time, but he can work on having his alone time built up gradually, so he learns that it's OK to be by himself for a little while sometimes. Ghost is friendly with other bogs but his size and gusto aren't for everyone! He's better suited to being the only dog at home whilst he learns a little control, but he should definitely have some appropriate friends for walkies and adventures. Ghost really doesn't like car travel and we've begun some positive training with him on that, but he does like a good adventure by train
