Gretel; female cattle dog, 2 yrs oldGigi is a gorgeous, sweet Heeler, about 2 years old, 52lbs.

This gal is used to house living, is house trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained.

Gigi is friendly with people, but would do best in an adult only home as her herding instincts are strong.

Gigi arrived at the shelter with a male Heeler that she had lived with, so she can live with other dogs, but she does need help meeting new dogs.

So someone who already has a dog and who knows how to slowly and properly integrate a new dog into their household using a crate and a leash would do fine with her.

Gigi is also highly alert to birds and little fluffies, so she'll need a home without cats.

Gigi is perfect for a Heeler experienced person that is looking for a great indoor companion, and running/hiking/walking/adventures together partner!
