Due to border patrol restrictions, you'll be required to cross the border and meet in Blaine, WA to receive your pup :) Our adoption application can be found at the bottom of this pet's bio.
Once your application has been approved, we can arrange a virtual meet & greet with you and Gnocchi.
Gnocchi is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX and is eligible to transport to an adopter as soon as one is lined up! Meet Gnocchi! Gnocchi is the cutest little mutt around! Gnocchi, his mom and siblings were abandoned in a bad part of town.
Neighborhood kids would throw rocks at mom for "fun".
A good Samaritan came across them, picked them up and took them in.
As soon as we found out about this little family, we reached out to see if we could help with their vetting and finding them families! Gnocchi is estimated to be 9 weeks old (as of 1/24/) and is a male.
He will be fully vaccinated and microchipped before transporting to an adopter.
Gnocchi currently weighs about 8 pounds with room to grow! We estimate he will grow to be a medium sized pup.
Momma dog is lab mix and weighs about 40 pounds, but we have no clue who the puppy daddy is and what size / breed he is.
Gnocchi will be adopted out on a neuter contract and neutered between 6 months to 1 year of age.
Gnocchi is such a young pup that he is friendly with everyone he meets! (dogs, cats & kids).
Gnocchi is full of personality and a total puppy.
He loves to romp around and play with his litter mates, but also loves to climb in your lap for snuggles.
We think he would love another dog in the home to show him the ropes, but this is not necessary, Gnocchi would love a fully fenced yard or an active family as he (and most puppies) have puppy energy he'll need to burn off.
All of our puppies under the age of 1 year old are required to attend some form of puppy obedience classes / training with their new adoptive family.
Gnocchi is not quite potty trained at this point and we'll be looking for a patient family who will continue to work with him on potty training.
His foster family is doing their best to help him become fully potty trained and we're sure he'll make progress towards being fully potty trained by the time he transports to his new family! Gnocchi is still working on crate training.
He currently does well in a baby gated off room, and we're slowly introducing him to the crate.
