Meet Godiva

This girl is absolutely, hands down, one of the sweetest and most affectionate girls! She looks ominous, but all she's going to do is lick you to death and squish you because she thinks she's a lap dog!

Poor Godiva was dumped in the country. She is now with us and is looking for a forever home who will never abandon her again. She is also our longest stay dog in our rescue. She's been with us since February of 2022 (a year) and not had a single adoption inquiry. We so badly want her to find a forever home!

Godiva is great on a leash. She is all about food, treats, and love! She's not been around cats that we know of, so we can't adopt her into a home with cats. As far as dogs go, she's not found many that she truly enjoys the company of.

However, when they want to interact with her, she's very picky about who she tolerates. So, we're praying we can find her a forever home soon in a single dog home. Unfortunately, dogs who don't like to share their living space other dogs often sit for months waiting for their forever homes, and she is no exception.

Godiva's adoption fee is $500 which includes her spay, current vaccinations (rabies, 2 parvo/distemper boosters, and bordatella), negative heartworm test, negative fecal, health certificate, registered microchip, and transport costs.

She is available through Paw Pals of Hale Center, a partner rescue of Project Freedom Ride. We are located in the Texas Panhandle. She is currently located in Texas. She would be transported on one of the PFR transports to either Meridian ID, SLC, UT, Seattle, WA, Mt Vernon, WA, Kennewick, WA, Portland, OR, Buffalo/Syracuse/Newburgh/Castleton on Hudson, NY, Philadelphia, PA, Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Columbus, OH, Springfield, IL, Chicago, IL, Des Moines, IA, Indianapolis, IN, Baltimore, MD, Lansing, MI, Grand Rapids, MI, Kansas City, MO, Minneapolis, MN, Stevens Point, WI, Madison, WI, Springfield/Richmond, VA, or Bedminster, NJ.

As a Project Freedom Ride direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet would take place on video call (FB Messenger Call, Whats App, or Google Duo). The adoption application and fee would be finalized prior to transport.
