Meet Gouda

Gouda was found as a stray who had been hit by a car. A Good Samaritan brought him to the vet and called us to help. He was found to have a broken pelvis, and was on crate rest until cleared by the vet recently. He is still needing to gain weight as he was very thin when found, and his back legs are still building strength from his injury.

Gouda is thought to be about 1 year old, and loves his humans. He is very cautious and shy at first, but loves to play with other dogs and is OBSESSED with playing in water - even his water bowl! He is house trained, but is still working on being calm and comfortable in a crate. Our trainers will help his future family with this as well. He has a beautiful sable-coat, even though at first glance he appears black. He got his name because while recovering, he would only take his medicine with a piece of cheese, and because he's a very "Gouda" boy.
