DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Gorgeous Gracie is a playful young Lab mix that is very loving, sweet, smart and energetic. If you are looking for a great natured dog with lots of love and snuggles to give, Gracie is your gal! She adores people and will play fetch all day if you let her! She is an active girl who loves being outside and would love an active home - a runner or even a doggie play mate would suit her well! She has endless energy, and extreme muscle and speed - she's the fastest one at the dog park. She's ALWAYS in for a game of fetch - and she ALWAYS wants to be a part of the party. She's looking for someone with a yard, so she can chase balls, sniff grass, and run to her heart's desire every day. She is house trained, crate trained, and incredible with dogs, kids ( older kids only, as she can be very rambunctious and mouthy), and all people. She has basic training of sit, stay, come, though we are working on greetings. Gracie definitely needs a home with a yard and a fence so she can burn her energy! She is also an all around love bug.
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
