Meet Granite
ABOUT GRANITE
Oh how we love a sweet, snuggly, senior! Granite is 8 years young, seeking a home to live out her golden years! Granite came to HAP from a high-intake shelter, where she was at risk for euthanasia due to space. Upon arriving to us, she melted all of our hearts. This senior gal is truly the sweet, well-behaved angel. While on a leash, she walks great and strolls alongside you. We gave her some free time in our fenced fields and quickly learned this senior has some spunk to her! Granite enjoys playing and gallops around our fields. She has done well meeting other dogs, though she would likely do best with gentle dogs.
**Granite has some age-related lumps and bumps that were cleared by our vet. She has also had a full senior bloodwork panel, to which she passed with flying colors!
In the meantime, you are welcome to submit an adoption questionnaire if interested in adoption! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog, but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small
bag of food to get you started.
