Meet Gretel
Gretel LOVES her person once she gets to know them. She, and her brother Hansel, had been dumped in a rural area, and were finally taken into foster care after several weeks of daily visits to gain their trust. Now she is a bundle of love. Gretel is approximately 18 months old, and weighs 48 pounds. She loves to play with other dogs, she loves to cuddle with the grandkids, and mostly ignores the cats in the foster home. Gretel has some food guarding behavior, most likely from starving in the woods, but if she is fed separately, she does great. Gretel had a rough start and she is a shy girl, but she is so full of love and loyalty, and she wants to be a part of a patient and loving family.
