Meet Griffin
If you have additional questions please email [email protected] our pal, Griffin!
Griffin was surrendered to Animal Control for being an..... escape artist. A Husky an escape artist? Say it isn't so! ;)
With the shelter being at capacity, we transferred him into our program. Our experience with Griffin so far has been quite the opposite. He's actually quite the velcro pup and wants to be wherever you are. He's a little nervous in this new environment. According to his paperwork he's only had one owner for his 4 years of life so it's no surprise he's worried about what's happening to him. He follows us everywhere and will lay on our feet to keep us close by.
Griffin is crate trained but he does like to sing..... loudly. He does settle in after a few minutes. He's had a few accidents but seems to be house trained. He likes to play with the other dogs but we suspect he prefers females. He enjoys hanging out in the yard and taking walks. He is strong on a leash. He is not small animal friendly.
Griffin is located in MD. He is current on his vaccines, neutered and heartworm negative. ~~Husky Education And Rescue Team is a foster based rescue. Our dogs are in our foster homes all up and down the east coast. We do not have a facility in which you can visit. We find this a huge benefit because we learn our dogs and are able to educate our adopters on what it's like to have them live in your home. Part of our process, once pre-approved, is to speak with the foster for the dog you're interested in. If you're still interested in adopting from our rescue the first step is to complete our adoption application online at www.huskyrescueteam.org/apply
